Skyrim se shimmering. Skyrim Special Edition flickering visual glitch! Need help! I'm getting that odd visual bug where there are grey, flickering patches all over characters and parts of the landscape. For instance, my Skyrim seems to work well when I increase both height and width by 40% which, coming from 1680x1050, amounts to 2352x1470. I maxed SS and it helped some, but still plenty of shimmer. That causes the texture to be scaled to be viewed which causes shimmering. Its a multi part problem, believe it or not, that encompasses a psychological component.
